Editor's Notes
May 08, 2020:
Not every nurse likes the same cut in their scrubs. Some may prefer a more form-fitting cut, while others may prefer a classic, loose-fitting pair. With this in mind, we did our best to include a variety of different options to ensure all of our readers will find something they like here.
While some nurses may only need a few pockets to hold the basics, others may like to keep more essentials on hand. For those, we have included Dickies Gen Flex, WonderWink Origins V-Neck, and Medgear 7897, all of which feature at least eight pockets, and in the case of the Medgear 7897, an impressive 12, so you'll have plenty of room for your stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and more.
When it comes to scrubs that highlight your feminine form, without being overly sultry or provocative of course, we have the Cherokee Infinity, Pandamed JY1604, and Dickies Xtreme Stretch. Conversely, the Just Love Print Mock Wrap and Dress A Med Classic have a more loose-fitting cut. The Just Love Print Mock Wrap deserves special mention for the attractive prints and patterns it comes in, however you'll want to make sure your healthcare facility allows this kind of uniform before going out and buying it.
The HeartSoul Women's Pitter-Pat is neither overly form fitting nor loose, so it is a good compromise for the woman who wants to be stylish without feeling like they are wearing something inappropriate at the work place. On that note, women shouldn't feel self-conscious or uncomfortable in their work clothes just because they are pregnant, so we have included the Cherokee Maternity, which is made specifically with expecting mothers in mind. It boasts side ties that allow you to adjust the fit as your bump grows, and high-waist, pull-over bottoms that are very stretchy.
