Since scrubs should only enhance the wearer's work and never distract from it, we looked for options that can make medical professionals not only feel physically comfortable but also confident in their appearance.
In the category of attractive designs, the Dickies Dynamix Natural Rise Jogger caught our attention because they look like regular workout pants rather than scrubs. The Barco Grey's Anatomy 0212 also got style points because, even though they look like hospital-ready apparel, they have details that elevate their aesthetic. We removed the Dickies Generation Flex Youtility because they simply look bulky and outdated. The Dagacci Medical also lost their place because they have a feminine silhouette that some men may not feel comfortable donning. We also eliminated the Dress A Med because it only comes in one color.
A few other features stood out to us as improving the wearer's experience. The Koi Coby Top has slits on the sides to allow range of motion, and the Cherokee Infinity have stretch panels on the back to minimize restriction of movement. Both the Figs Pisco Basic Straight Leg Pants and the Figs Leon Top have water-repellent fabric to keep the wearer dry, and the Tooniforms TF663 is made of a breathable mostly-cotton fabric. Though the Landau Full-Length Coat is made entirely of cotton, we didn't feel it fit the product category well, so it had to go.
Plenty of storage was a priority, too, since we know medical professionals keep items like notepads and pens on hand, so we added the Landau Cargo 8555 and the WonderWink 6355A, both of which have many pockets.
