Editor's Notes
April 30, 2020:
Determining the best honey for your needs will greatly depend on what you plan on using it for. Those looking for classic honey that goes well in tea and soothes the throat might like Wholesome Raw Unsweetened or Nature's Nate Raw & Unfiltered, both of which have easy-squeeze bottles and consistencies that melt easily into hot water. That being said, Liquid Gold Delicious was a bit too syrupy, so it had to go.
We wanted to present some unexpected flavor options for those looking to experiment in the kitchen, so we like Greenbow Cinnamon, Pelindaba Lavender Gourmet, and Meluka Hemp Seed, each of which has the addition of the special ingredient listed in their names. HoneyTree's Tropical lost its place as some found the flavor to be a bit too intense. Meanwhile, Bee Harmony Raw lost its spot too because its flavor is so mild that it's barely there.
We decided to remove Bee Seasonal Gift Set to make room for Bee Seasonal Brazilian Pink Pepper Blossom because we felt the latter had a more interesting flavor profile. Also, Big Island Bees Wilelaiki would make a good gift option, as its quite gourmet, and we didn't see the need to recommend both.
