King Arthur Flour Storing cooking and baking tools isn’t rocket science, as the simplicity of this practical model can attest. Two rows of evenly spaced dividers create convenient slots for housing saucepans, cookie sheets, cutting boards, cooling racks and more. It’s freestanding, so no complicated assembly is necessary. kingarthurflour.com

Colorado Metal Worx This powder-coated steel organizer will look sharp on display next to the sink, but you’ll still appreciate its functionality if you decide to banish it to the pantry. You’ll have four elegant color options to choose from, and the top surface serves as a shelf where you can keep your less frequently used kitchen gear. coloradometalworx.com

Editor's Notes

July 15, 2019:

Upon reviewing the items in this list, we noted users’ contentment with both the aesthetics (it looks particularly nice when paired with stainless steel cookware) and the capacity capabilities (several different types of hooks) of the Cooks Standard Ceiling. For a ceiling-mounted model, it’s also quite simple to install. We opted to increase its ranking.

We also confirmed that the Extreme Matters Black is indeed a useful option for storing cast-iron skillets, which are a bit weightier than saucepans made from other materials. However, we did discover some complaints regarding a tendency for pans to slide around at times, which is the primary reason we dropped it a couple slots.

We identified two new models that we included in the Special Honors section; both offer different attributes than existing items from the list. The Colorado Metal Worx is made with sturdy steel and decorated with bear-shaped cutouts, making it well-suited for a rustic log cabin or a lake house in the woods. For those with more modest needs, the King Arthur Flour provides practical storage for lightweight cookware, with no installation required.
