The 10 Best Secretary Wallets

Updated August 06, 2019 by Melissa Harr

This wiki has been updated 32 times since it was first published in August of 2015. If you've gone to all the trouble of dressing for success in a sharp suit, don't go ahead and spoil its lines with your bulky billfold. Instead, try a secretary wallet, an accessory for the executive with cash, credit cards, and perhaps even a checkbook to carry. Most are slim enough to fit unobtrusively into a jacket's breast pocket, and they're offered in a range of colors and styles. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Saddleback Big Leather Wallet The Saddleback Big Leather Wallet definitely lives up to its name, as it gives you all the room you could need for a pen, some cash, your ID, and even your passport. Extremely tough thanks to a pigskin lining, it has a 100-year warranty, so you can plan on using it for quite some time. saddlebackleather.com

Louis Vuitton Brazza The high price of the Louis Vuitton Brazza ensures that it’s not for everyone, but for those who have the budget, it’s a stylish and classic way to carry everything from credit cards to coins. You can choose from a range of designs and colors, too. louisvuitton.com

Editor's Notes

August 05, 2019:

Because many users choose secretary wallets to avoid a traditional bulky bifold or trifold, we’ve selected slim — but practical — options that will match a range of leather briefcases and office bags. These include the Tony Perotti Organizer and Tommy Hilfiger Slim. The former has a more rustic look, while the latter is sleek and professional, but both offer good organizational capacities for their size. We also decided to add the Pendleton Buffalo Check Ombre for styling that’s a little different. The wool fabric selections are certainly eye-catching, while the zippered pocket on the inside helps ensure that you don’t lose any crucial items. Finally, we decided to add the Kattee Vintage, a popular choice that’s inexpensive but not quite as rugged as many of the pricier options. Nevertheless, its simplicity and price make it worthy of consideration, especially among users who plan to use it only occasionally.
