Editor's Notes

May 14, 2020:

Whether you're looking for a shot glass set to display alongside your favorite bartending book in your home bar, need something portable for camping, or want something elegant to bust out for formal events, we've gathered a variety of selections to suit differing needs. We focused on shot glasses with generous capacities and weighted bases that are easy to care for, look good, and boast extra features like chip resistance or flared lips.

Today we removed the Kovot Tic-Tac-Toe Full-Sized, which is still a solid party game if you're looking for one, but we felt it had to go due to repeated reports of the designs on the glasses and board quickly fading. It also scratches very easily and has extremely sharp edges, two things that don't mix well with inebriation.

We supplanted the Tru Blu Unbreakable and Unemployed Philosopher's Guild, both of which became unavailable. We didn't want this list to be lacking in unbreakable options, though, and so we added the Mosscoff Moscow Mule and Silipint Patented. We love both for their hardwearing, shatterproof designs, a boon when drinking. The Silipint are also incredibly versatile and undergo a manufacturing process that renders them odorless, allowing you to fully enjoy your spirit. They, like the Fred Cool Shooters, are exceptionally temperature resistant.

Finally, we added the Villeroy & Boch Boston, a selection made by a company respected for its German craftsmanship. These vintage-inspired shot glasses are perfect for holidays and formal events, come in a range of colors and are dishwasher safe. If you're looking for something hardwearing and elegant, they're a solid choice along with the Radicaln Antique and Novica Artisan Crafted.
