Editor's Notes

October 14, 2020:

Anyone looking for a table top conversion kit for playing ping pong is probably short on space, so although most of our choices are regulation size options, we did include a few more compact choices for tight spaces.

The Hathaway Maverick and the Viper Portable are both smaller than regulation, and also have other gaming options, making them a great choice for a children's play area, or casual players living in a small home.

While the East Point Foldable is one of our tournament-sized selections, it probably won't be a great pick for a serious player, as it folds into four sections, leaving a seam down the center of the court, but it's also offered at a much lower price.

For the update we added the Stiga Duo, which provides the regulation playing surface while fitting over smaller 7 and 8 foot pool tables. It's also a great choice for the steel stiffeners in the center to prevent sagging.

November 02, 2018:

Included the Joola Top and Dazadi Harvil due to their sturdy playing surfaces and extra padding. Also added the unique Hathaway Maverick as a cost-effective alternative to keeping separate pool and table tennis structures in a small gaming room. Locking connection system of the Martin Kilpatrick facilitates a quick setup.
