Editor's Notes
August 01, 2019:
The Shimano Blackmoon and Superfisher XXL were taken off the list due to a lack of availability, and we removed the Wild River Nomad because it was essentially a duplicate of another item on the list in a different color scheme.
In adding five new items to the list, we addressed a few important attributes, beginning with size. Both Calissa offerings (the Recon and the Blackstar) offer considerable storage capacity, with room for as many as five heavy-duty bait boxes with plenty of ancillary pockets to boot. The Recon is the only model on the list with wheels and a retractable handle, which is super handy for hikers who want to save energy on a long trek.
The Blisswill Single is an economical choice for a fisherman on a budget — especially one who values versatility, as it can be worn as a backpack, shoulder bag or hand bag. Users reported being very impressed with the amount of gear it can accommodate without becoming too heavy or cumbersome while being worn. We noted the durability and comfortable design of the Piscifun Storage, which also comes with a protective rain cover.
