Editor's Notes

September 10, 2019:

We fine-tuned this list by removing items that we felt had been surpassed by newer, more innovative models (IE the Fashion Smart and EasyComforts 14-Day for the Mimi Medcessories 7 Day Pretty and Vera Bradley Iconic), as well as replacing our number one pick, which had become unavailable.

A travel pill organizer must be compact yet roomy and capable of fitting into a toiletry organizer, suitcase, purse, or backpack. It must have enough space to bring at least a week's worth of daily regimens along on vacation, or else be able to discreetly house one day's worth of supplements so they're close at hand at work or while running errands (like The Pill Bags). Bearing that in mind, we also felt that people who take extended trips will require an option that allows them to bring much more than that, which is where the Pillsteer Holder comes in.

Vitamins like chewables and many medications can easily suffer from humid climates, light, and spilled water, so units that effectively seal out moisture and block light were prioritized. We also favored models with easy-to-read labeling that resists rubbing off (although that can still happen with frequent use), as well as options that won't bust open while in transit.

After arriving in Los Angeles a decade ago, she quickly nabbed a copywriting job at a major clothing company and derived years of editing and proofreading experience from her tenure there, all while sharpening her skills further with myriad freelance projects. In her spare time, she teaches herself French and Italian, has earned an ESL teaching certificate, traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States, and unashamedly devours television shows and books.
