The 10 Best Tube Squeezers
Editor's Notes
September 18, 2020:
Before picking a particular tube squeezer it's worthwhile to consider what type of product you will most likely be using it with. Though many models are compatible with a wide range of tubes varying in size and material, you probably don't need an extremely durable option if you're only going to use your selection for toothpaste or small containers of medication. Options like the Osun Life TS31, Yeio Clip, and 1st Choice Roller Key may be simple, but many find them perfectly adequate for their needs, plus they have the added benefit of not taking up too much room on your bathroom counter or in a medicine chest.
While these aforementioned models are simple enough to operate they do require a bit of dexterity, so those who have difficulty with fine motor control or simply want something that's even easier to use may want to look at the Xykeey Set, Chengu Holder, and GMS Winder. These choices are still primarily intended for things like toothpaste, and use essentially the same mechanism as the 1st Choice Roller Key. The difference is their addition of an enclosure that keeps everything in place, so all you have to worry about is turning the key and aiming at your toothbrush once you get the tube started.
If you're mostly going to be dealing with paint, adhesives, or anything else that comes in robust metal tubes, you my find that you need something more heavy-duty. The Big Squeeze Tool, Gill Manufacturing Wringer, and Xykeey Wringer offer compatibility with large tubes, and utilize interlocking teeth to maximize efficiency. Not only is this mechanism great for getting every bit of material, but it takes advantage of the crimping properties of metal to seal off the tube as it goes and prevent liquid from moving back into an already-squeezed area. The Big Squeeze Tool has the advantage of being one of the only models to feature a handle, which not only makes it comfortable but also allows for superior control when applying substances directly from the tube.
