Also delicious in sweet dishes and beverages, it's becoming popular in teas and tonics. Editor's Notes

November 01, 2019:

Turmeric has enjoyed a spike in popularity in recent years for a number of reasons. First, it has a distinct, versatile taste that combines remarkably well with a number of spices and flavors. Second, there are plenty of purported health benefits. Some say that turmeric's antioxidants can help curb inflammation and fight against brain and heart disease, and others report improvements in depression. Of course, these effects have not been assessed by any public health agency and can therefore not be confirmed, so it's best to consume turmeric for its delicious flavor rather than its alleged health benefits. It's worth noting that the process of tea-making can be a therapeutic activity in and of itself. Consider investing in a tea maker and create a daily ritual around the calming beverage.

With regard to updates, Choice Organics' shiitake tea has been removed due to complaints about its flavor profile. Vadham Herbal Tisane has also been taken off the list and replaced with Vadham Teas Superfood, which comes in a 100-packet box for heavy tea-drinkers who prefer to buy in bulk. Yogi Vitality is another new addition, chosen for its affordable price and popularity among serious tea fans.
