This wiki has been updated 17 times since it was first published in January of 2019. There's nothing worse than getting completely soaked in an unexpected burst of rain. But using a regular umbrella can be cumbersome, especially if you're carrying groceries or trying to open the door to your car. Luckily, these fun hats are a hands-free solution. They might look a bit silly, but they will keep you nice and dry. You could also use one to stay out of the sun on a hot day. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

January 15, 2019:

Made sure to include both kid-size and adult-size options. Most of these products can be used to block either rain or sun, but some are especially well-suited to one use or the other. For example, the "ufo" style is clearly designed for rain, while the ventilated caps are built with the hot sun in mind.
