In no particular order, the following are their short personal backgrounds and their most notable pieces of work.

Coming in at #3 is Nicky Charles. She became a writer by accident. In January 2009, she wrote a fan-fiction for an old TV series, "Scarecrow and Mrs. King." After joining a fan group for the show, she met Jan Gordon, an author who inspired her to scribble down suspense romance novels. Seven months later, she published "The Mating," a paranormal story of love featuring Elise who ends up being mated to a complete stranger. This novel is the first of Charles' eight-book series, Law of the Lycans.

Taking the #4 spot is Geri Glenn. A lover of all types of fiction, she lives in Thousand Islands with her husband, children, and pet dogs. She is best known for her motorcycle romance series, the Kings of Korruption. The first book in this collection is "Ryker," a story named after the main character, who falls in love with his friend's nurse, Charlotte. The developing chemistry between them is stained by their past and the dangerous situations they are involved in.

At #5 is Sarah Castille, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author who lives on Vancouver Island. She writes contemporary erotic romance and suspense, creating alpha male characters that are very attractive and sexy.
