This wiki has been updated 14 times since it was first published in July of 2020. The sourness of the vinegar in these refreshing drinks is often balanced out by sweeter ingredients to offer a more pleasant experience than drinking it straight. While many of these options claim to deliver a myriad of health benefits that we can't confirm, what we do know is that you should dilute any concentrated formulas and, like with most things, consume them in moderation. When users buy our independently chosen editorial picks, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

July 27, 2020:

It's important to note that there are a lot of claims about apple cider vinegar and its benefits to your overall health. These claims are not verified, however there is a general consensus that it may be good for an upset stomach. That being said, these drinks should never be used for real acute illnesses for which a visit to the doctor is always recommended. Apple cider vinegar is quite acidic, which can be bad for tooth enamel and the esophagus when consumed in large amounts, so if you purchase concentrate it should always be diluted before ingestion. It should also be stated that most of the drinks we listed can contain very small amounts of alcohol due to the fermentation process. If you are pregnant, it is recommended that should avoid drinks of this kind.

Apple cider vinegar has quite a sour taste, yet it has been coupled with other ingredients and used for centuries as an alternative medicine to aid in gut health and digestion. While we cannot validate any of these non-scientific claims, we can attest to the interesting and robust flavors that this drink delivers. There are mainly two ways the fermented drink can be taken, in shot form, or diluted within sparkling or tap water.

If you like a bit of a kick in your ciders, check out Ethan's Immune Boost Fire Shot, or Hany's Carolina Reaper Fire Cider. While the former gets its heat from spicy habanero peppers, the latter's bite comes from the Carolina Reaper. If you're trying to cut back on sugary drinks but still like a bit of carbonation, then Poppi Lime Ginger, KeVita Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic, and Vina Sparkling Apple Cider Vinegar are all worth looking into. The KeVita has the finest bubbles of all three, and also has the added benefit of probiotics, which may be good for your digestion.

Of all the options out there, Bragg Apple & Cinnamon is the most popular, and for good reason. This company has been making their cider for over 100 years, using only organic ingredients and always delivering a raw, unfiltered beverage that has become renowned throughout the health food industry. While they are primarily known for their concentrated formulas, these drinks have become a hit and are available in several other flavors, including acai, grape, and lime.
