We've rounded up choices that are charming, durable, and made to keep your beer, wine and sodas chilled for hours. Some would make excellent housewarming, anniversary, or wedding gifts. Editor's Notes

July 16, 2019:

Although we liked the look of the BREKX Colt, it may begin to leak over time, making the attractive styling perhaps not worth the hassle. We've also elected to remove the Towle Double Walled due to availability issues. But when it comes to top choices, we still like the Igloo 20-Quart and the Prodyne Big Square. These are plastic options that are simple to clean and can stand up to your "livelier" party guests. Of course, for fancier gatherings you might need something more elegant, such as the BirdRock Home Round or the Artisan Steel Chiller. Both require a fairly large investment, but they're durable and so can be used for many years to come. They're also both double-walled, so you don't need to put a towel under them to catch condensation. Finally, after some deliberation, we opted to add an inflatable choice, the Moon Boat Inflatable Tray. It can't handle extremely rough treatment, but if you handle it gently, it should last you through a handful of gatherings. And on the plus side, it's quite large but easy to transport, the perfect complement to a portable grill for a party anywhere.
