In terms of quality for the price, it's hard to beat the BestBookStand Ergonomic, with its sturdy, but lightweight, construction. The Clear Solutions Wood is perfect for those with limited counter space as it conveniently mounts under a cabinet, and also has the added benefit of putting your cookbook closer to eye level. The Prepara Chef's Center is modern-looking with a small footprint, and the pull-out drawer with a conversion chart for common measurements is a nice perk that can save you some time (and Googling) when you're in the middle of cooking. The Boston Warehouse Stand is cute and doesn't take up a lot of space, but it might be a little too narrow for especially large books. Removed the Joseph Joseph Compact as it was no longer available, along with the Mighty Bright Fold-n-Stow due to concerns about its stability.
