Editor's Notes

June 04, 2020:

Unlike traditional down pillows that are primarily used to provide head support, these ergonomic pillows come in different shapes and sizes, many with memory foam interiors and slow recoveries for contouring to the individual shape of one's head, neck, and back to promote proper spine alignment. When used as sleep aids, they can also assist in providing improved blood circulation to the muscles, particularly when their level of firmness is adjustable to suit different sleeping styles (i.e. back, side, or stomach). We've done our best to incorporate as many distinct models as possible, so you can find something that not only matches your body type, but one that gives you the support needed to ensure a good night's sleep. Many of these options can also double as therapeutic tools to help with medical disorders like arthritis or even acid reflux.

Both the Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Luxury and Carex Semi Roll quickly conform to most body shapes, the former of which is equipped with a breathable bamboo and polyester cover that keeps you cool.

We've also added the Core Tri-Core for its concave center and cervical side rolls that cradle the head, neck, and shoulders.

Flying can be problematic when it comes to maintaining comfort, especially if you're stuck on an airplane seat with limited room to lean back or move around. We've included the Cabeau Evolution for such a situation, as it can easily mold to the shape of your neck and be stored at nearly a fraction of its original size inside the provided travel bag.

If you suffer from chronic hip, knee, or leg pain, the ComfiLife Orthopedic fits unobtrusively between the ankles and it can keep your body properly aligned while you sleep.

Both the Xtreme Comforts Kool-Flow and Mediflow Original offer adjustable designs, one of which is equipped with a completely insulated water pouch that can be filled to the desired level to achieve optimal firmness.

If you tend to get overheated when taking a nap (I know that I do in the summer months), the built-in ventilation holes and gel particle technology in the Bluewave Ultra does a good job of dispersing excess heat so that it doesn't collect around your head.
