The 8 Best Portable Changing Pads
Editor's Notes
May 15, 2020:
For this update we removed the Nakiddo Grey as it is no longer available. We replaced it with the Herschel Sprout. While the Herschel doesn't provide quite as much storage space as the Nakiddo did, we like that its roomy mesh pockets are also located on the sides instead of up above the mat, where your necessities may be out of reach, especially if you're doing a change on the floor.
We decided to evaluate some disposable pads on the market for times when parents want to be sure they aren't bringing any extra germs back home. The Little Things Disposable is significantly larger than the average disposable mat without being a lot more expensive. They aren't as absorbent as a mattress pad, but they'll take care of small leaks and accidents that can happen in those few seconds the diaper is off.
Keeping the focus on cleanliness and avoiding germs, our top pick is still the Snoofy Bee Clean Hands for the innovative barrier it forms to keep hands confined and its toy loops to help keep babies distracted from reaching out and touching something else.
