Half-Life: Alyx Although Half-Life 3 may never become a reality, Alyx is an incredible puzzle-solving and combat-heavy game that focuses on saving the main character's father and attempting to save the world. It's a roughly 15-hour campaign that has very high-quality graphics compared to other VR games. Be aware this version is not available for PSVR and is only available in SteamVR, though it's very worth mentioning if you're a fan of Gabe Newell's work. Follow its progression in case it does get released for Play Station one day. half-life.com

Beat Saber Beat Saber is an immersive rhythm-based game that focuses on slashing small cubes to the beat of the music. Each cube is red or blue, indicating which saber you should use to hit it. Editor's Notes

June 18, 2020:

Once you have your camera, VR headset, Playstation Stand, cords, cables, and all, you will be able to enjoy all the fun and immersion PSVR has to offer. Since the modern development of consumer VR gaming technology in the 2010s took off, many more developers have been focusing on creating high-quality virtual reality content. We've included some fascinating and interactive games that may leave you on your feet for hours. You don't have to play with the Move Controllers since some of the options listed are also compatible with some PS4 controllers.

If you like light-hearted gameplay with adorable visuals, Polyarc's Moss and Astro Bot Rescue Mission have colorful graphics and calm campaigns that aren't as stress-inducing compared to action-pact selections. It makes it a great option for kids who love immersive worlds and want to be less exposed to gory or violent-heavy themes. They both have a rating of E10+.

If you've always wanted to dip your toes into the game developer world, one game that may inspire you to do so is Media Molecule's Dreams. It's a highly customizable game that allows you to create new worlds, games, music, and art that can be shared with or played by anyone online.

The ESRB rating system is used in North American video game and retail industries to help consumers decide if titles are appropriate for certain audiences. Some examples of ratings are E for everyone, T for teens, M for mature for ages 17 and up, and AO for adults only. Check the rating before buying them for you or children since one may deem it inappropriate for their consumption. It can be the guardian's responsibility to decide what is and isn't appropriate for their kids.

Regardless of what VR system or game you play, one may experience motion sickness, nausea, or other forms of discomfort while in virtual reality. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop using the VR headset. Many people who regularly play VR games will take frequent breaks to help avoid these symptoms. Read your headset's instructions and safety warnings to better understand your model's guidelines.
