The 10 Best Refillable Perfume Bottles

Updated August 05, 2020 by Melissa Harr

This wiki has been updated 20 times since it was first published in December of 2018. Applying perfume is the finishing touch to feeling fabulous, but some come in bulky bottles that are cumbersome to spray or carry with you. These refillable containers will do any scent justice, with a few making for attractive display pieces, as well. Most distribute an even mist, and many let you take your favorite fragrances anywhere, whether in your purse, handbag or pocket. When users buy our independently chosen editorial selections, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Lalique Clairefontaine The Lalique Clairefontaine is a display piece inspired by the beauty of nature, with an eye-catching stopper designed to evoke sprigs of lily of the valley. Handcrafted in France, it is offered in a clear or midnight blue version, with both standing nearly five inches tall. lalique.com

Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti You'll probably want to keep the Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti somewhere safe, as this opulent bottle certainly does not come cheap. It boasts hand-carved rock crystal in an elegantly-curved design that comfortably holds up to 3.7 milliliters. tiffany.com

Editor's Notes

July 31, 2020:

We've kept eye-catching pieces as well as plain, utilitarian choices at this time, so there's one for all types of women's perfume and men's cologne. But we removed the MUB Flower Set and the Enjoydeal Travel, as we're worried about their long-term durability, especially when it comes to leaks.

For those who seek a bottle that is just as pretty as it is useful, the H&D Egyptian, the Yufeng Fancy, and the Beautyflier Vintage still make fine choices. These are bottles that are sure to turn heads, with colorful embellishments and interesting shapes. This means they are not the best choices for travel, however. Also, the Beautyflier's pump cannot take a lot of rough treatment, so you may want to think twice about selecting this model for a young user. Instead, the Wholesale Deals Direct Portable work well for the younger crowd, since they're made from plastic and can take some rough treatment.

As for plain models, the Crystals and Trinkets Frosted and the Futureup 2 Pack are ones to consider. They are attractive but not gaudy, each with a simple shape and cap. Or, for travel, there's the Lil Ray Atomizer. Each set comes with everything you need to make filling a breeze, a convenient touch. The Cosywell Cosmetic Containers are good for those who are constantly on the go, as well, and are one of the more affordable choices out there.

December 20, 2018:

For some, a perfume bottle is also a work of art, but for others it's just a utilitarian item, so we included models for both schools of thought. We added some decidedly feminine choices, but we also incorporated some unisex products for those also looking to store cologne. There are a variety of materials, too, like elegant glass for display bottles and durable plastic for travel ones.
