These nets help slow down the rate at which livestock consume their meals by making them work to finagle the hay out of small openings. The unfortunate truth about these hay nets is that there likely isn't a one-size-fits-all solution; rather, different models are adept at different things. For example, the Freedom Feeder Mini is perfect for use on the road but probably too small for everyday use, whereas the much-larger Derby Originals Natural Grazer is fantastic for putting in a pasture but is going to be a pain to haul around. The offering from Weaver Leather earned our top spot because it's a smart compromise between both options. However, if your budget allows, you might want to consider buying several nets in different sizes.
