Although yerba mate gourds are traditionally made from natural gourds, such as the calabash, many of the best choices today boast man-made materials for durability and usability. And these are two characteristics you can expect from our top choices, including the WJC Pottery Ceramic and Novomates Stainless Steel. The former has a more artistic vibe, whereas the latter is all about functionality (although the bright green color is certainly eye-catching).

We also opted to add one set that includes a vacuum flask, the Kalmateh Matte Black Set. It comes with everything you might need to get started, including a package of high-quality yerba mate tea and a bombilla. We've decided to remove the Sam & Co.
