The 10 Best Baby Bottle Tote Bags

Updated August 02, 2020 by Gia Vescovi-Chiordi

This wiki has been updated 27 times since it was first published in October of 2016. It's important to maintain the temperature of a baby's milk or formula at the appropriate level. Having a well-insulated bottle tote bag can help give you peace of mind when you are out and about with your offspring, and they are generally well padded, too, to minimize the chance of breakage. They come in a wide variety of designs to suit all tastes and needs, often with handy pockets. Editor's Notes

July 29, 2020:

When updating this list we wanted to maintain the balance between larger bags that can accommodate a few hours' worth of gear for running errands and compact totes ideal for tossing into a purse or diaper bag. We also felt it was important to keep a handful of gender-neutral items around for both parents, as well as anyone who prefers discreet designs.

We said goodbye to the Mommy Knows Best Cooler, which is a fine enough option, however, we feel that it is a bit underwhelming and the fact that it sports a giant pink logo might turn a lot of parents off. We used the opportunity to add a chic, versatile selection in its place, and so opted to bring on the Momcozy Multi-Function. This stylish bag is spacious and attractive, insulated quite well, and can double as a picnic bag or drinks carrier for beers, sodas, wine, or any other beverage you may want to take on the go, in addition to a wide variety of baby bottle brands. It sports a detachable shoulder strap for added convenience and can be converted into a one or two-compartment tote via its removable insert.

When the HaloVa Mini Backpack became unavailable, we decided to add the Nanobebe Travel in its place. This one, like the Tommee Tippee 522293, is a solid compact option for parents looking to transport short bottles, sippy cups, or snacks. Its handle has a snap closure that makes it a breeze to attach to strollers and other bags, as well.

We supplanted the Bellotte Travel Carrier, which didn't offer the hardiest design, with the Dr. Brown's Convertible. This one is handy in that it can be folded over and clipped to secure shorter contents and can accommodate around four bottles. When not full, however, it tends to tip over.

February 28, 2019:

We know that sometimes, parents don't want to bring a whole diaper bag wherever they go, but do still need a place to store a couple added essentials. That's why we included the Columbia Badger Ridge and the Mommy Knows Best Cooler. They should hold an afternoon's worth of necessities, plus a few bottles. We also know that as a parent, it's easy to feel like your sense of style has been monopolized by baby-looking items, which is why we added the HaloVa Mini Backpack for the fashionista, as well as the discreet Tommee Tippee 522293 and PackIt Black for the burly men. Babies grow up, but we know parents appreciate items they can use for years to come, so we added the Vettore Sac al Fresco, which makes a great lunch tote for adults, too.
