video play icon

This wiki has been updated 7 times since it was first published in January of 2019. If you want to emphasize core strength more in your workout, getting one of these balance boards can help you achieve your goals. They're also great for surfers and skateboarders who want to practice in the off-season. All of these are sturdy enough to support adults, but make sure you have a wide, open space to use it in, and be prepared to fall once or twice while you're learning. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. If you'd like to contribute your own research to the Wiki, please get started by reviewing this introductory video.

Editor's Notes

January 30, 2019:

Since this list is specifically for adults, I made sure that every model has a weight capacity of 300 pounds or more. There's a variety of styles, some of which are more challenging than others. Less experienced users will probably be more comfortable with a single-piece product where they don't have to worry about a tube flying out from under them, but more advanced users and people interested in learning tricks will want the full range of motion that can only be provided by two pieces.

4. StrongTek Fitness

5. Revolution Advanced

6. Yes4All Wobble

7. StrongBoard Balance

8. Carrom Natural

9. Solofit Resistance

10. TheraBand Rocker
