Editor's Notes

December 17, 2018:

Added the Roborock S5 for its powerful cyclonic suction, high-efficiency battery, and infrared-based collision detection system. The Samsung Powerbot has a built-in camera for path mapping as well as a self-cleaning brush for removing pet hair and dirt. Also included the IRobot Roomba for its edge-cleaning tool and built-in filter for removing allergens. Decided to add the Eufy RoboVac for its convenient drop-sensing technology. The clever design of the IClebo Omega incorporates many obstacle detection sensors and a wet mopping tool that's useful on hardwood and/or tile floors. The integrated checkup system programmed into the Bobsweep Pet Hair Plus also makes it a worthy contender. Also included the ILife A7 for its interchangeable roller brush system and path mode for back-and-forth cleaning to ensure complete coverage.
