A reliable bagger will save you lots of time and backbreaking work by gathering up your clippings as you cut the lawn. They conveniently attach to the rear of riding mowers or tractors and collect grass and leaves through a chute system. Most are lightweight and easy to maneuver, making them a breeze to attach and empty as required. September 05, 2019:

When you use a riding mower for cutting your lawn, a sturdy bagger system is a must in order to avoid the time and hassle of going back to clean up all of your clippings. The models featured here won’t disappoint, and some are strictly compatible with mowers from the same manufacturer, whereas others work with a broader range of makes and models.

The Poulan Pro Soft-Sided is made with a durable steel frame and rugged polypropylene components, and provides for easy loading and unloading. It offers a six-bushel capacity and comes with upper and lower chutes and all of the required hardware. It can be used with the maker’s 42-inch cutting deck tractors, as well as select models from Craftsman, Husqvarna, Weed Eater, Ryobi, and others. (It’s not compatible with zero-turn mowers.)

If you’ve got a Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, or MTD machine with a 30-inch deck, look to the Arnold 30-Inch Mini, which features two vented nylon receptacles and a matching hood, and it’s equipped with counter-weights for stability and easy steering.

If you already have a grass catcher but would like to increase its holding capacity, consider either the Lawn Tractor Leaf Bag or the TerraKing ST95000, both of which are made from durable polyester fabric and which will let you mow for much longer periods before having to stop and empty leaves or grass. The latter also comes with a convenient fabric patch, in the event a sharp twig or branch snags it.

When deciding which bagger is right for you, first and foremost, make sure it’s compatible with your mower or tractor model. For safety's sake, be sure to follow all installation instructions carefully.
