The 10 Best Cordless Horse Clippers

Updated February 09, 2019 by Brett Dvoretz

This wiki has been updated 19 times since it was first published in January of 2019. As with any animal, horses require regular grooming for a variety of reasons. Not only will it improve their appearance, but it can also help to prevent potential skin and coat issues, such as matting or chafing. All of the lithium-ion-powered clippers on this list are well suited to tackling the contours of an equine's body, strong enough to cut through hair without snagging, and easy to use. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki. Editor's Notes

February 04, 2019:

We realize that in order to make clippers well-suited to use on horses, they must have a few specific features. For example, due to the large size of an equine, any model with less than 60 minutes of runtime per charge just wouldn't be a practical option, so every unit on our list gets at least that much, it not significantly more. Following in this same line of thought, we also did our best to include models where the blade won't get hot with extended periods of use. After that, we wanted to balance performance and price to give you the best value for your money.
