Today we added in the decorative and functional TamBee T-Strap, which feature an attractive curved design and a shiny black finish. They’re crafted from heavy-duty cast iron and can be purchased in your choice of five, six, and eight inches in length to suit your gate or door size and weight. They feature a captured pin design, making them easy to install in either a right- or a left-handed orientation. Included are 16 screws that, incidentally, are not waterproof, so keep in mind you’ll need a sturdier set for outdoor applications. They’re available in sets of two or four, and replace the similar US Ventures Group Tee, which are unavailable at this time. We also added the L.A. Ornamental Barrel Style, which are made of tough alloy steel and pivot easily, thanks to their ball bearing design that requires minimal lubrication. They’re great for use with heavy gates that are opened and closed frequently, such as those in some driveways. Note that installation for these requires welding, as each one features incorporated welding plates. They replace the Garnigr Maker Barrel Style, which are currently unavailable.
We still feel the Boerboel Heavy-Duty Contemporary are worthy of a prominent spot on the list, due to ease of installation and durability.
