Editor's Notes

February 01, 2021:

When choosing a set of sliders, one of the most important things to keep in mind is the surface you'll be using them on. Carpet, hardwood floors, and concrete all have different textures, so they require discs made of different materials. Many options solve this problem with a reversible design, so you can simply flip them over when changing from one surface to another. New to the list, the Beachbody Strength use a pair of booties instead, allowing them to have a curved design that prevents hands and feet from slipping off.

October 04, 2019:

We've kept a balanced selection so that there is something for all fitness levels, with many choices including exercise bands and other extras for taking your workout to the next level. If it's simplicity you look for, though, it remains tough to top the Iron Core Ultimate and Sklz Slidez, both made for ease of use whether you're at home or the gym. There's also the Elite Sportz Full Body, but be aware that its felt cover will come off if the felt side is used on carpet, due to the friction. You'll want to reserve this side for hardwood and tile only, as indicated.

For those who'd prefer an option with more functionality, we added the Fila Accessories Total Glute and Aesthetics Box Sliders Fitness. We kept the Core Coasters, as well, although not everyone can jump right into using them easily. You might consider this option if you're already in decent shape and have some experience with exercise sliders.
